If you restart the laptop and only open Final Cut Pro, it will come close to using all 16 GB of memory, but usually won’t use any SWAP memory. 16 GB RAM: With Google Chrome open and running Final Cut Pro, it will use some of the SWAP memory.Any editing over 4K60 100 Mbps, upgrade to the M1 Max chip and 32 GB of RAM.I dropped the resolution on the GoPro back down to 4K and the laptop does just fine.
